Destination : Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur - Ranthambhore - Jaipur - Delhi
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrival at Delhi and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Delhi
After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour of the historic city of New Delhi. We start from the 11th century Qutab Minar moving along to the Lotus temple, India Gate , the Rastrapati Bhavan or the President’s House , Red fort,Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial , Humayun's Tomb,Teen Murti and Indira Gandhi memorial. We also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi - Agra
Early morning, we leave the hotel for the railway station where we board the superfast air conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast in the train and reach Agra in approx. 02 hours. After freshing up,we began our tour of Agra begining with the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort build by Emperor Akbar in 1566.Here we witness the grandeur of the Mughals which is evident in their beautiful architecture namely the Diwan-I-Am , The Diwan-I-Khas , the Sheesh Mahal etc. Then after spending an hour there, we move to our next stop- the beautiful Taj Mahal. One of the seven wonders of the modern world and an epitome of undying love, it is sheer magic in poetry. We then move on to visit the Imitaudullah tomb famous for its beautiful peitura dura work Evening free to explore the Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets. Night stay in Agra.
Early morning drive to Bharatpur. Wedged between the twin cities of Agra and Jaipur in the north-west,Bharatpur is famous for Keoladeo Ghana bird sanctuary and is home to an amazing range of flora and fauna. Enroute, visit Fatehpur Sikri. Made totaly of red sandstone, Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar who built it in 1569. -a perfectly preserved red sandstone "ghost town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed.
Later drive to Bharatpur and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay atn Bharatpur.
Day 05 : Bharatpur - Ranthambhore
After an early breakfast, we begin our bird watching tour of the Keoladeo Ghana National Park where a cacophony of sounds will greet you . Late afternoon we drive to the Ranthambhore National Park. A wildlife sanctuary, Ranthambore is famous for its Tigers and is considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. Reach Ranthambhore and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Ranthambhore.
Day 06 : Ranthambhore
After breakfast, we begin our Jungle safari in a Canter (a vehicle which is open on the top) and began our quest for the tiger while meeting the leopard, jungle cats, the highly endangered caracal, jackals, sloth bear, wild boar, marsh crocodile, porcupines, common langur, spotted deer, Indian gazelle, sambar and nilgai on the way. After lunch and a few hours rest at the hotel , we begin our second visit in the national park . Night stay in Ranthambhore.
After breakfast and an early morning jungle safari,we begin our drive to the pink city Jaipur.Named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur, the city is famous for its forts and palaces which recall the splendours of the rajas and the maharajas. Arrive at Jaipur & transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 08 : Jaipur
After a leisurely breakfast, we begin our tour of Jaipur starting with the City Palace. Still the residence of the royal family of Jaipur,the palace complex comprises of many structures, courtyards, gardens and halls like the Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal and Badal Mahal. The Shri Govind Temple and the City Palace Museum are also located within its precincts. We ride on the elephants to arrive at the majestic Amber Fort before moving to the Jaigarh fort where the Jaivana, reportedly the world's largest cannon on wheels is located. After lunch, we visit Laxmi Narayan Temple, the Sisodia Rani ka Bagh and the Hawa Mahal also known as Palace of Winds , renowned for its delicate screens and carved balconies. In the evening, we move to Chokhi dani, an ethnic village resort for dinner. Here you will get an idea of the village life of Rajasthan and enjoy various traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show and various other interesting activities. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Morning at leisure. Afternoon drive to Delhi & transfer to airport for onward flight.
