Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrival at Delhi and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Delhi
After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour of the historic city of New Delhi. We start from the 11th century Qutab Minar moving along to the Lotus temple, India Gate , the Rastrapati Bhavan or the President’s House , Red fort,Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial , Humayun's Tomb,Teen Murti and Indira Gandhi memorial. We also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur ( By Train )
Early morning, we board the airconditioned train to Jaipur. Breakfast in the train. Arrive Jaipur and transfer to hotel. After a few hours of rest we start our sightseeing tour of Jaipur city begining with the city palace and followed by the hawa Maham and the Jantar Mantar.
After breakfast, we ride on the elephants to arrive at the majestic Amber Fort before moving to the Jaigarh fort where the Jaivana, reportedly the world's largest cannon on wheels is located. After lunch, we drive on to the historic city of Agra while visiting Fatehpur Sikri- the erstwhile capital of the Mughal Emperor Aklbar. Arrive at Agra & transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 05 : Agra-Varanasi ( By Train )
On day 5, we begin our tour of Agra begining with the Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort build by Emperor Akbar in 1566.Here we witness the grandeur of the Mughals which is evident in their beautiful architecture namely the Diwan-I-Am , The Diwan-I-Khas , the Sheesh Mahal etc. Then after spending an hour there, we move to our next stop- the beautiful Taj Mahal. One of the seven wonders of the modern world and an epitome of undying love, it is sheer magic in poetry. We then move on to visit the Imitaudullah tomb famous for its beautiful peitura dura work Evening free to explore the Agra’s rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets. In the evening we board the overnight train to Varanasi .
Reach Varanasi in the morning and transfer to hotel. The oldest living city in the world, Varanasi or Banaras is also one of India’s most sacred city situated on the western bank of the holy river Ganga. A city which cannot be described, only experienced, Varanasi has a lot of temples which are over thousand yeras old. After a few hours rest and a hearty breakfast, we began our sight seeing of Varanasicovering Temples, Aurangazeb’s Mosque and the Benaras Hindu University- one of the biggest university of India. Evening view "Aarti" ceremony on the Ghats. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 07 : Varanasi - Sarnath
After breakfast, we start with our morning boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Late in the afternoon we start on our excursion to Sarnath. Located 10kms., east of Varanasi, Sarnath is one of the Buddhism’s major centers of India where the Buddha first perched his sermon after attaining enlightenment. Visit the deer park and the museum before heading back to Varanasi . Night stay in Varanasi.
Day 08 : Varanasi - Delhi ( By Flight )
After a relaxed breakfast, we move to the airport to board the flight to Delhi. Arrive Delhi & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Transfer to airport for onward flight.
