Day 01 : Arrival at Delhi

Welcome to your meticulously weaved Simply Golden Triangle Tour. While you land at Delhi International Airport our tour representative will greet you warmly. He will take you to the hotel previously booked by our tour operator in Rajasthan. Enjoy the surroundings of the capital city on your way to the hotel. Take your own choice for today. Savour some delicious Indian foods to soothe your taste buds. Rest overnight on the lavish bed of the hotel.

 

Day 02: At Delhi

On the second day of Golden Triangle Itinerary enjoy sightseeing in Delhi, a city which blends both old and new. The vibrant aura of Delhi is always charming to the tourists. While in Delhi explore all its heritage centres, cultural hubs and government buildings. Old Delhi houses mostly the remnants of the lavish Mughal dynasty while New Delhi has the modern building as well as the cultural shopping, and political hubs. Your Delhi tour includes sightseeing of Red Fort a spectascular red sandstone monument, followed by visit to adjacent Chandini Chowk and neighbouring largest mosque of India- Jama Masjid. Continuing with the sightseeing visit Rashtrapati Bhawan or President's House an erstwhile residence of British dignitaries; also visit India Gate, a war memorial. End the city tour with visits to Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun's Tomb, and Qutub Minar. In the evening you can opt to enjoy a sumptuous dinner at a roadside restaurant.

Day 03: Delhi- Agra (200kms/ 4 hrs.)

Tour to Golden Triangle will take you to Agra, once a capital of the Mughal emperors. On the way to Agra just wait for a while at Sikandra to explore the massive red sandstone and marble tomb of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. On reaching Agra take your hotel and have your own choice. Later in the day guests will be accompanied by our GeTS Holidays representative to the fascinating sites in the city. Visit the fascinating site of Agra Fort followed by a visit to Itmad-Ud- Daula's Tomb. Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 04: Agra- Jaipur (240 kms/ 4 hrs.)

Visit the World Heritage Site of Taj Mahal early in the morning to view the magnificent Taj basking in the hues of morning light. It's incredible! An early morning trip will provide you opportunity to visit the monument in the absence of bustling crowd and thus will be a great experience. Return to your hotel and pack up for the onward journey to Jaipur.
Today you will drive to towards Jaipur, the pink city of Rajasthan. On the way to Jaipur you will bypass Fatehpur Sikri. Stay for an hour and explore the Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaja, and Dargah of Sheikh Salim Chisti. Though it is a deserted town now yet the architectural monuments tell the story of a bygone era. Day 05: At Jaipur

Post breakfast, guests will start their excursion to Amber Fort in the morning. Constructed amidst scenic locals in 16th century, Amber Fort is the perfect blend of Hindu and Muslim architectures. Guests will reach the Amber Fort by a memorable elephant ride.

Inside the city your sightseeing tour will first bring a visit to incredible palace complex of City Palace in the heart of Jaipur to explore the fine amalgamation of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Whilst travelling Jaipur a visit to Jantar Mantar, a royal observatory is a must and so is a visit to Hawa Mahal which was used as a place for royal ladies to watch the royal processions of the city from. Guests will be free in the evening for shopping from the shopping arcades in the city. Jaipur is known for its exclusive Rajasthani handicrafts. Back at the hotel in the evening guests will spend the rest of the night.

Day 06: Jaipur- Delhi (260 kms/ 5 hrs.)

Your Simply Golden triangle tour itinerary will end today. Bid farewell to Jaipur and start drive to Delhi. In the evening you have to catch your flight at Delhi airport to your next destination. Our GeTS Holidays representative will thus escort you to International airport at Delhi and he will make all the arrangements for your comfortable flight back home.
