Day 01 : Arrival at Delhi
You arrive first in the capital city of India as planned under this Golden Triangle with Kerala Backwater Tour. Our GeTS Holidays representative will welcome you with utmost humility and assist you through out. Your base in Delhi will be the hotel booked previously for your overnight stay under this Golden Triangle with Kerala Backwater Tour itinerary. Spend the night at the hotel to revitalize and get refreshed for an exciting tour ahead.
Post breakfast guests will proceed for a sightseeing tour of capital city Delhi. The city will be encompassed mainly in two parts with tour to Old and New Delhi. The tour to Old Delhi will include a visit to the magnificent edifice of Red Fort followed by a visit to largest mosque in India- Jama Masjid and to the adjacent ancient market- Chandini Chowk.
The sightseeing tour in New Delhi will include a drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan followed by a visit to India Gate- a memorial raised to commemorate Indian soldiers martyred during World War I and Afghan Wars. In the evening visit Laxmi Narayan Temple followed by a visit to white, lotus shaped temple- Lotus Temple and to Qutub Minar. Enjoy a light and sound show at Red Fort later in the evening and retire to your rooms henceforth for overnight stay.
Day 03: Delhi- Agra (200kms/ 4 hrs.)
On this day of Golden Triangle Tour in India guests will be driven to a 200 kms distance to reach the erstwhile city of Mughals- Agra. On the route pay a quick visit to Sikandra to see the Tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar and then proceed with your drive. On arrival in the city guests will be accommodated in a hotel for night stay. Start for a sightseeing tour quickly after checking in. Envisage the golden era of Mughals while our GeTS Holidays representative drive you to the imposing edifice of Agra Fort. Also visit Pearl Mosque and Itmad- Ud- Daula built in memory of Empress Noorjehan’s father. The evening at Agra can be enjoyed best by paying a trip to the local souvenir’s market to pick some mini replicas of Taj for your home. Return to hotel for night stay henceforth.
Day 04: Agra- Jaipur (240 kms/ 5 hrs.)

Indulge in the enchanting beauty of Taj early in the morning and then return to the hotel and have your breakfast. On route pay a visit to deserted town of Mughals- Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar in order to honour Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of Emperor’s sons.
Continue with your drive and reach Jaipur where you will be put in a hotel booked for your night stay. Guests are given a choice to enjoy a delectable meal in Chokhi Dhani a five star property with enchanting Rajasthani village backdrop. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After a succulent Rajasthani breakfast start to visit Amber Fort perched on a hillock. You can enjoy an elephant ride here. You will discover the architectural brilliance of the Rajasthani artists. A visit to spectacular palace complex of City Palace will provide an opportunity to view fine Indian and Mughal architecture. Afternoon will be scheduled for a visit to Jantar Mantar, an ancient observatory built by royalty, Sawai Jai Singh.
Also, visit another famous site of the city, Hawa Mahal built for the royal ladies to watch the royal procession. Today also visit the shopping centres, gardens and cultural centres. Day 06: Jaipur- Pushkar (135 kms/ 3 hrs.)

Pushkar is a renowned city of pilgrimage and houses 500 temples which are adorned with timeless architectural splendour. Visit the temple of Lord Brahma surrounded by the pristine Pushkar Lake from here you can also enjoy the view of devotees on the banks offering their prayers. In the evening one can also opt to explore the markets of Pushkar and then return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Pushkar - Udaipur (275 kms/ 6 hrs.)
Post breakfast drive to the next destination of this Rajasthan tour; Udaipur is the renowned City of Lakes which is like a great haven of natural beauty in the middle of desert region of Rajasthan. En route visit the majestic palace and forts of Chittorgarh including the mightiest Fort Chittourgarh. Day 08: At Udaipur

Also, visit Lok Kala Mandal renowned for owning a collection of traditional Rajasthani attires, ornaments, puppets, paintings and other artefacts. Udaipur is well-known for its local crafts, particularly paintings in the Rajput Mughal style thus to witness that one can visit Shipgram followed by a visit to Eklingji and Nagda Temples. Return to the hotel in Udaipur thereafter for overnight stay.
Day 09: Udaipur-Mumbai- Kochi (By Flight)
Relish your meal in the morning on this day of Golden Triangle with Kerala backwater travel and then check out to reach the domestic airport in Udaipur. Guests will first reach Mumbai from where they will board their connecting flight to Kochi. On arrival in Kochi Our GeTS Holidays representative will escort you to the hotel booked for your stay here.

First visit the Fort Cochin & St. Frances Church to see the town of Vasco Da Gama who discovered the oceanic route to India. Thereafter also visit Jewish Synagogue and the Mattancherry Palace. This evening will avail you an enchanting experience of Kerala backwater travel as you sail along palm fringed beaches and shady canals overlooking the Chinese fishing nets still in usage. Day 10: Kochi-Alleppey (64 kms/ 1 ½ hrs.)
This day at Kochi will be devoted to a complete backwater tour in Kerala. Post breakfast drive to Alleppey, here on arrival you will embark a houseboat and enjoy a fascinating ride henceforth. The houseboats also known as Snake Boat in Kerala is traditionally made with huge planks of wood combined together and is completely safe for travelling. The enchanting backwaters of Alleppey are a gorgeous site to enjoy the serenity around. Have your breakfast and then disembark the houseboat where you will find our GeTS Holidays representative awaiting you; he will then drive you to a hotel in Kumarakom. Check in the hotel and then proceed for a jungle safari at Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Located by Vembanad Lake this wildlife reserve is a sanctuary of natural splendour. Go birding to see numerous species of birds such as Darters, Bitterns, Brahminy Kites, Teals and more. Return to the resort in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 12: Kumarakom- Kovalam (140 kms/ 2 ½ hrs.)
IPost breakfast on this day drive to the next destination Kovalam in the morning. On arrival you will be accommodated in a hotel for night stay. The rest of the day will be free for recreation and relaxation in the beautiful city of beaches and backwaters. One can also enjoy a ayurvedic massage to revitalize those jaded muscles. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 13: At Kovalam
Post breakfast at Kovalam guests will spend the spare time on beaches. You are also offered an option tour to Trivandrum City the capital of Kerala renowned for its seaside beauty. Visit the famous Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and later also drive to Cape Camorin. You can also explore the region to see the meeting point of three oceans (Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal). Enjoy sunset at Vivekananda Rock and Ashram and then drive back to Kovalam for overnight stay.
Day 14: Kovalam- Trivandrum (16 kms/ ½ hour)- Departure (By Flight)
