India tour - Forts & Palaces ( 17 Nights / 18 Days )
Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International airport. On arrival you will be met by our representative who will help you get transferred to the hotel.Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour of the historic city of New Delhi. We start from the 11th century Qutab Minar moving along to the Lotus temple, India Gate , the Rastrapati Bhavan or the President’s House , Red fort,Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial , Humayun's Tomb,Teen Murti and Indira Gandhi memorial. We also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi - Pachewar
After breakfast, we take a train to Jaipur from where we continue by road to the small village of Pachewar and stay in the 300 years old fort. Overnight at hotel.
Early morning, we drive to Bundi and check in hotel. In the afternoon we visit the Bundi Fort which is renowned the world over for the delicacy and profusion of their architectural embellishments. Bundi is equally well known for its step wells as well as for its school of Paintings. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Bundi - Castle Bijaipur
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 06 : Castle Bijaipur - Udaipur
In the morning, we drive to Udaipur. Arrive Udaipur & check in hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 : Udaipur
In the morning, we start our sightseeing tour of Udaipur by visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake, Shaelion Ki Bari (queen's resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (folk art museum). Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Dungarpur. Reach Dungarpur & check in hotel. In the afternoon, visit the two beautiful palaces of the city whose architecture is worth exploring since they consist of every known embellishment used in the making of any building. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 : Dungarpur - Narlai
In the morning, drive to Narlai. Arrive Narlai & check in hotel.In the afternoon we begin our tour of Narlai. Legend says that it was here that the sage Narad Muni meditated long before it was inhabited. Later it became a hunting preserve for the Sisodias. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Narlai - Luni
Early morning, we drive to Luni & check in hotel. After lunch and some rest, we visit the Luni River that has provided a lifeline to dwellers in the desert.Nightstay at hotel.
Day 11 : Luni
Today,we begin our sightseeing tour of Luni by paying a visit to Fort Chanwa. The Fort build of red sandstone is a handsome building with beautiful jharokhas and cupolas that are a characteristic of the architecture of the region. It also provides a panoramic view of the hamlets below and of the Thar Desert. Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 : Luni - Osian
Today we drive to Osian. Arrive Osian & check in hotel. In the afternoon, we begin our sightseeing of Osian which is famous for its ruined Brahmanical and Jain Temples dating from 8th to 11th century. Here we visit the important temples are the Surya or Sun Temple and the Sachiya Mata Temple. Nightstay at hotel.
Early morning we drive to Kuchaman- a picturesque village famous for its Fort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Kuchaman - Nawalgarh
Today we drive to Nawalgarh which is renowed for its Paintings and Havelis. In the afternoon we pay a visit to the many havelis like the Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Aath Haveli, Hodh Raj Patodia Haveli, Jodhraj Patodia haveli, Bansidhar Bhagat Haveli, Chokhani haveli, Bhagton ki choti Haveli, Parusrampuria Haveli, Dharni Dhakra Haveli, Chhauchharia Haveli, Hira Lal Sarowgi Haveli and Geevrajka Haveli. These havelis have some of the finest frescos and murals.
In the evening move to Mandawa, Dundlod. The Mandawa Castle is one of the finest castle of Rajasthan, is now a beautiful hotel and it has beautiful frescoes, havelis & mansions. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 : Nawalgarh - Jaipur
In the morning,we drive back to Jaipur. Check in hotel. In the afternoon, we pay a visit to the colorful bazaars of Jaipur. Overnight at hotel.
Day 16 : Jaipur
We begin our sightseeing tour of Jaipur by riding a caparisoned elephant to reach the majestic Amber fort before moving to the Jaigarh fort where the Jaivana, reportedly the world's largest cannon on wheels is located. Then after a hearty Rajasthani lunch, we continue our tour of the city starting with the City Palace and Museum where many antiques and artefacts belonging to the ruling family, including a collection of weaponry are housed. The tour then ends with a visit to the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Winds"and the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory. Back to hotel via Birla Mandir. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17 : Jaipur - Agra
After breakfast, we drive on to the historic city of Agra while visiting Fatehpur Sikri- the erstwhile capital of the Mughal Emperor Aklbar. Arrive at Agra & transfer to hotel. In the evening we pay a visit the magnificent Taj Mahal. Overnight stay in Agra.
The Last day of the tour. We begin our day by visiting the Taj Mahal once again, followed bya visit to the Agra Fort and the Moti Mosque. After lunch, we drive backr to Delhi via Sikandra to visit the Tomb of Emperor Akbar. On arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to your hotel or the airport for your onward journey.
