Day 01 : Arrival at Delhi

As you reach Delhi your Enchanting Rajasthan Tour begins. On your arrival you will be welcomed in a traditional style. After that you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in.
Delhi, being the national capital this city is also a bustling metropolis. This city blends beautifully the ancient and the modern. Delhi has something for everyone. It offers from monuments, forts to modern contemporary shopping malls. You will get to visit every possible attractions of the city as planned under your Enchanting Rajasthan Tour itinerary. Spend the night in the hotel.

 

Day 02: At Delhi

Delhi the national capital of India embodies a harmonious blend of traditional affluence of Old Delhi and modern culture of New Delhi.  The Enchanting Rajasthan Tour comprises of a sight seeing tour to the tourist places of the city.  Our tour operators in Rajasthan plans for an illustrious experience of touring the city and hence, the guests will visit the renowned site of majestic red sandstone building of Red Fort; Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India and a visit to it is a must also visit the neighboring market area of Chandini Chowk and shop for some souvenirs.

The sightseeing tour of New Delhi includes visit to the Indian Parilament House- Rashtrapati Bhawan followed by visit to India Gate.  Visit the famous complex of Laxmi Narayan temple and Lotus Temple for a religious tour of the city.  Evening can be spent watching a beautiful light and sound show in Red Fort. An overnight stay in the Delhi hotel shall provide a time to relax and relish the memories of the day gone by in the historic city Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi- Agra (200kms/ 4 hrs.)

After breakfast at the hotel an excursion to Sikandra to see the Tomb of Mughal Emperor, Akbar.  After a brief pause at Sikandra proceed further to reach Agra, the world renowned city housing one of the seven wonders of the world- Taj Mahal.  On arrival check into the hotel booked for stay in Agra.  Relax for a while and in the evening proceed for sighting the fabulous site of Taj Mahal.  Sunrise and sunset is considered the best time to visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Further visit other sightseeing attractions of the city first including the astonishing site of Agra Fort.  Continue the sightseeing tour to visit tomb of Itmad- ud- Daula. 
Spend the evening scrolling around the shopping areas of Agra for shopping for mini replicas of Taj or other souvenirs.

Day 04: Agra- Jaipur (240 kms/ 4 hrs.)

After breakfast at the hotel an excursion to the city of Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone to honor Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of spectacular Mughal architecture. Later you will proceed for a journey to Jaipur where you will be accommodated in a hotel booked for your stay in the city.  After a brief pause for relaxation you can proceed to visit Birla Temple.  You also get an option of experiencing vibrant Rajasthani life by visiting Chokhi Dhani for dinner with viewing folk dance and music and puppet shows. Return to the hotel thereafter for night stay.

Day 05: At Jaipur

Next morning tour to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the state until 1728 and see the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory sparkling with mirrors, Jai Mahal and the temple of Kali. Ascend, on elephant back, the hill on which the fort is situated. In the afternoon city sightseeing tour to Jaipur. Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan was given a color of pink a century ago in honor of a visiting Prince. Ever since, it has retained the color. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit the Maharaja's City Palace of winds known as Hawa Mahal. Also visit the royal observatory, Jantar Mantar.  In the evening shopping for handicrafts, carpets and other souvenirs will be the ideal way to enjoy time in the city. Back in the hotel enjoy overnight stay.

Day 06: Jaipur- Pushkar- Jodhpur (340 kms/ 6-7 hrs.)

Post breakfast commence your journey to reach Jodhpur.  An en- route visit to Pushkar, the renowned destination of famous cattle fair and the only temple of Lord Brahma is planned on your Rajasthan itinerary.  Proceed towards Jodhpur henceforth where on arrival you will be accommodated in a hotel booked previously for your stay in Jodhpur.  You can opt to enjoy an eventful night at some fine restaurant in the city or stay in bed for a peaceful siesta after a long journey.

Day 07: Jodhpur- Bishnoi Village- Jodhpur

A lavish breakfast in the morning is followed by a sightseeing tour of the city which will encompass major attractions such as Clock Tower, Mehrangarh Fort- a giant structure situated on an elevation of about 125 meters, Jaswant Thada- a white marble memorial built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh and a visit to Umaid Bhawan Palace building that is converted into a hotel and a museum. 
The rest of the day will bring an excursion to Bishnoi Village known by the cast of Bishnois who are considered protectors of animals, wildlife and plantations.  Also visit the local handicraft markets selling exquisite products such as pottery hand weaving, silver jewelry, beauteous attires and more.  After this enriching experience of your Rajasthan travel return to your hotel in Jodhpur and stay here for the night.

Day 08: Jodhpur- Udaipur (276 kms/ 6 hrs.)

A drive to Udaipur is then planned on your Enchanting Rajasthan Tour.  You will get to visit en route the renowned Jain temples and Ranakpur Temples- a cluster of temples made of intricately sculpted white marble.  Continue the drive henceforth to reach Udaipur where you will be transferred to the hotel booked for your stay in the city.  Evening in this lake city will be free for leisure activities and for a casual walk around Lake Pichola.  One can also opt for a boat ride or simply return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 09: At Udaipur

In the morning city sightseeing tour to Udaipur. Built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, the city has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. The day will begin with a visit to exquisite City Palace overlooking the Lake Pichola.  Other sightseeing attractions on your Udaipur tour will include Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery, Palace Museum and Jagdish Temple. Later visit an ornamental garden built for the royal ladies- Saheli Ki Bari followed by a visit to Lok Kala Mandal which exhibits a fine collection of folk artifacts such as ornaments, puppets, folk music instruments, paintings and more.  Conclude the trip with a visit to Eklingi and Nagda Temples, built on the banks of Lake Bageela. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10: Udaipur- Delhi- Departure
